Jacklyn's Birthday

Time to catch up on what has been going on in the last few weeks at our house. Last Wednesday was Jacklyn's birthday. I took her to the store before school and let her pick out her own birthday presents. She was being really picky about what she and wanted and kept changing her mind, so I decided to just go let her pick this year. She finally decided on this My Little Pony scooter that is remote controlled and she was pretty excited about it. I also got her some other ponies that could ride in it that she wanted. I let her pick out the cake that she wanted. She wanted this strawberry cake. I think the reason she wanted that cake the most was because it was pink. Then when Micah got off of work we had a fun birthday party for her. She really enjoyed it. She also got a ZhuZhu pet with her birthday money. They are little toy hamsters that run around and make noises like real hamsters. I thought they were kind of dumb when I saw them at the store, but Jacklyn really wanted one, and they are actually pretty cool. Jayden ended up going back and getting one with his money. I thought that was funny, so now they both have toy hamsters that interact with each other. Also, on that note, thank you everyone for the birthday money and birthday wishes. We really appreciate it. Today was the last day of school for the kids so now everybody is at home and being busy, so I need to go. Bye.

I am glad Jacklyn had a good birthday. Those little toy hamsters are pretty cute. Alicia loves pink too. Girls are fun!

Kayla LOVES zhu zhu pets, some of these toy-makers are brilliant in thinking of toys that look dumb to us adults but the kids love them! Have silly bandz hit popularity out there yet? They were a major craze here, everyone had to have them and they are just jelly bracelets in different shapes! I'm glad Jacklyn had a fun birthday, good idea to let her pick out her gifts. :)
